ENTRÉE TO MURDER by Nicole Kimberling: 4 stars
Loved this :). Loved the interaction between Drew and Mac, how Drew could clearly frustrate Mac by trying to talk to others about the murder, because he wanted the restaurant to open, darn it *laugh*. It was hard to like Drew's best friend, Sam, though. She was NOT a good friend *boo*

Dal Maclean's A Country for Old Men was definitely the highlight of the collection - she can really write setting, atmosphere, and relationships. I'd read a full book or a series starring Callum solving crimes.
But I found something entertaining in all the mysteries. The only thing I would note is because they're short stories, usually the most obvious person was the culprit, but I didn't mind that so much.

This is an amazing collection of stories. each is unique but all are well written with wonderful characters and a mystery to hold your interest. If that is what you enjoy, you can't go wrong with this one.
