Loved this. It’s easy to see Chandler’s influence on Joseph Hansen. I like Marlowe. I have some questions about him based on some things he said, but hopefully the other books will answer them for me. Can’t wait to read book two next month!

I really enjoyed fallowing PI detective Philip Marlowe in The Big Sleep. Philip Marlowe was awesome main protagonist, he was intelligent, loyal and proud. His way of dealing with different clients and characters was cautious and smart. It was funny to see, how two spoiled bitches couldn't play Marlowe by his dick. He was awesome!
