I needed to get 'things I didn't like' out of the way first. I will never, ever, be comfortable to read M/M romance stories that has religious element in it. The thing is, the arguments from both sides will become repetitive (or wrongness vs. nature). It rarely see eye to eye in M/M romance. Usually, it will end up with the MCs leaving the religion altogether. I understand that in religion will always be one of the most significant opponent of homosexuality. But I guess I wi ...more

Eli Easton has become a must read author for me!
Well done love story, a bit of family/religious angst and a sweet, slow build from strangers to friends to lovers. I adored both lonely MCs and the slow burn as they are both embarking on new paths in their lives, while unwittingly establishing themselves in a pseudo-relationship before they even realize it. The religious themes were handled well. The pace of the book picked up quite a bit at the end as a lot went down in a very short time, with on ...more

I loved this one! I loved how they started out with an sharing meal arrangement, becoming friends and then more. David was just a good man having done his duty when he was younger because of how he was raised. After meeting Christie he realized that he could have more. I was so happy that he finally found his true love with him. I really liked Christie too. I so wanted to be able to taste all of the food he was making. Not surprised I love Eli Easton's books. Another great one.

2016 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: A Second Harvest by Eli Easton
1) Loved this story and couldn't put it down. Engaging characters who hooked me in within the first few paragraphs. The setting is described really well and was easy to imagine. This is the first story I've read by this author but won't be the last.
2) A beautiful story about second chances and finding yourself. Christie and David are intensely perfect for each other. I can wait to revisit these men.
3) Well written story of two ...more
