What Members Thought

I had read a lot of great reviews for Best Corpse before I started it so I had high expectations. As you can see from my OK rating, it fell short for me. The writing style was fine and the book seemed well edited. I liked the small, private British school setting from a teacher's perspective (isn't so different from our own as a former teacher). It was also interesting how shootings have affected schools in Britain. Lots of elements like these give the setting a very real feel for me. I also lik

Hm, the romance between Schoolteacher Adam Matthews and Inspector Robin Bright was a bit bland and developed truly slowly, which is understandable considering their roles in this book. The mystery criminal case was enjoyable enough, to be pulling, but nonetheless nothing special.
