I first discovered K.J. Charles through her collaboration with Jordan L Hawk. I have since become a great fan of her writing.

Very different from The Magpie Lord and just as wonderful. I liked Curtis and Daniel, but I have to admit to having a particular soft spot for da Silva because I used to have people put on my shifts at work other people had a hard time working with, but I got along with just fine. The plot is intriguing and I didn't want it to end----and at such an interesting spot! I hope we see more of these two (and I did giggle when the title showed up in the book--okay, more of a LOL). ...more

Just wonderful story

I love all KJ Charles‘ books. That here was different. The tone of the people sounded authentic to me. I really would love more of this
