I just finished listening to this audiobook, and all I can say is, I'm glad I waited for the audio! The narrator did a fantastic job of distinguishing each character's voice, and this book will stick with me for a long time. I liked this one even more than the first in this series.

I love how Josh Lanyon tells a story. I love how he creates a character. Elliot and Tucker's relationship blossoms in this novel as they navigate the changing dynamic of dealing with family, work, and crime solving as partners.
Elliot's father's house is burnt down. Someone doesn't want him to publish his memoirs. Elliot has to find out what happened in the past to figure out what is happening now, but no one really wants him to do that.

I didn't feel like the storyline for this was as strong as Fair Game for the mystery portion. However, I really enjoyed seeing Tucker & Elliot's relationship progress.
I also enjoyed the narration better with switch to J.F. Harding. ...more
