What Members Thought

Ugh. I restarted this review a dozen times because there just does not seem to be a nice way to say I thought this was terrible. I found the heroes unlikable when not being simply uninteresting. Both heroes were constantly irritating the hell out of me. Hero #1 butts into his father's affairs even after an adamant "mind your own f*ing business". Hero #2 spews that same old theme of "You're not a cop/agent/etc; give all your cleverly gathered Intel to me." I almost want to make a "busybody award"

hmm...i'm not sure about this one. The writing, as always, was masterful, but the story left me cold. Maybe a reread will be in order some time in the future.

If I could, I would rate this book with 10 stars. That's because of its plot. Personally I loved the complexity on Elliot's path in discovery about his father youth or better past. Elliot and Tucker relationship grows even deeper and stronger. At the end of Fair Play they are a rock solid couple. Damn, but I love Fair Play in an audiobook edition. The narration was excellent and well read by J.F. Harding!

This was another wonderful story by Josh Lanyon. Elliott and Tucker are living together and really learning how to be in a relationship, while dealing with someone trying to kill Elliott's father. I enjoyed this one, although I will say that I wish the relationship aspect had gotten more page time than the conflict with Roland. Overall, I liked this. I hope we can revisit these two again.

Well I liked it, I mean, whats not to like, but I have to say, Fair Game was far better and more interesting. I was really excited to read more about Elliot and Tucker but unfortunately, in this book, past of Roland (Elliot's dad) and the relationship between him & Elliot, took preference over Elliot and Tucker's story. And so little scenes between Elliot and Tucker. And strong(in every sense of the word) characters like Tucker deserves more page. At least that's what I feel. I want moreeeeeee o
