There is definitely a reason this book is considered a true literary classic. From the first pages you are transported back so vividly into the roaring 20’s with a truth that Fitzgerald seems only to deliver.
The story unfolds early in the year 1922 and sees Nick Carraway returning from war to begin his career. He ends up renting a house near the Great but somewhat mysterious Gatsby and is soon swept up into the world of parties and money. It’s not long before ...more
