I'm a big fan of the IAD series, so I can forgive that this book was probably a tad too long and could have been resolved much earlier than it actually was. But I can't complain that I got to read more of Thronos and Lanthe and their 'epic story,' as Lanthe would say.

It was nice to finally get to Thronos and Lanthe's story. I'd been wondering about them for some time. They both had a lot to overcome and their tale was equal parts frustrating and touching. I'm glad neither was able to give up on the other.

To me Kresley Cole never disappoint. She is one of the best paranormal-romance author out there. In her 14th installment of Immortal After Dark, it is against all odds, is getting better.
Thronos and Melanthe has a story way back when they were just children. They met, they became best friend, but then tragedy happened that changed the course of their life. Lanthe and Thronos both lost their parents and their childhood because of it.
