The final book of this series.

It's been awhile since I read the previous books. Plus I read so many other books in between. So I figured I will be totally lost when I read this one. I didn't have to worry though. Things were explained and reintroduced properly. There was no crash course intro or "if you don't know the back story, sorry" moments.

Since the setting is in some medieval era, and the timeline is long-ish, there were also "reintroductions" near the end, just incase you're the type of r The final book of this series.

Things were explained and reintroduced properly. There was no crash course intro or "if you don't know the back story, sorry" moments.

Since the setting is in some medieval era, and the timeline is long-ish, there were also "reintroductions" near the end, just incase you're the type of reader who puts the book down a lot (like me now since I'm a new mom). Oh! These reintros are so subtle that its totally ok. I get annoyed with long winded intros.

Ok... So thoughts on the book? I love this last book. It's a good conclusion to the series. I don't think I want to read more on these two lovers. The things thrown at them... Sheesh, let them rest.

I found Han's POV more action packed and entertaining while the Queen's is more fluff. I remember liking her POV more but the story is mostly on Han's POV. So that's that.

Reaction on the series? Wow! Definitely a good read. Lots of YA romance drama, royalty political mess, and twists in the story line... I feel tired just recalling different events in the series.
The queendom is still struggling but at least the story of these two star crossed lovers come to a close... Oh! I also love the extra tidbit at the very end. Crow.
