This review is mostly a lot of negatives, but I still liked this book. I wanted to give this 4 stars, I really did, but the more I thought about it the more I realized it had a lot of problems. This book is so much fun. If you think (like I did before I started this book) that urban fantasy has done everything it can and there is no book that can take on urban fantasy in a fresh and interesting way - -then you need to try this book. What an amazing book! Hilarious, jam-packed with action, creepy dead people and the creepy guy who raises them, a pack of hybrid werewolves like no other, some witches, a talking-head and the clueless not-so-ordinary guy who finds himself smack in the middle of it all.

To be honest, this book could have had a plot that rivaled (insert name of insipid book here) and I probably would have still given it a try based on the title. Every time I looked at the book, "Tiny Dancer" popped into my head. And the fact that the chapter titles were from songs didn't help my earworm disease.
