Not that good. If this were my first YA novel in this genre I would have liked this so much more. The plot is too similar too others and there's a distance, a lack of energy, and too much repetition. Apparently, when people fight they only get slashes on their face, above their cheekbones. I wanted to like this but it was a chore to get through. Dull and boring.
