Now we are back to Dragos and Pia. I figured we would be after the prophecy that Dragos received through the Oracle in the last book.
In this book we get an understanding of what the prophecy meant, and see it be dealt with.
Pia is 7 months pregnant with an unknown due date since she is having a dragon shifter baby (could be a gestation of up to 2 years). She is going to the Elves to try to make peace after everything Dragos did when they got together.
Of course things don't go as planned.

I really love Pia and Dragos!
What I enjoyed:
* Pia is a great character. I loved how she managed to get her new guards on her side as well as get Dragos to treat her like a partner.
* Dragos is also amazing. He had to learn to let go some control (view spoiler)
* the storyline with the elves (view spoiler) was intriguing
What could have been better:
* I would have liked to learn more about ...more

Thank god Pia and Dragos are back because the second book was super boring and the other books just don't seem as interesting.
