This book was actually fairly entertaining and I basically finished it in a really quick time especially for myself. I usually takes me at least 4 days to finish a book even if I like it a lot.
Clara is an angel-blood (quarter angel). Her mother is half-angel and her father is full human. She has just received visions of her purpose in life and moves to Wyoming in order to follow through on it.

This was an almost perfect book, in fact i can't think of anything i didn't like and i didn't detect any faults. It was written in a clean, evocative style that grabbed my interest and never let go. The characters were marvellous and i got to fall in love along with them, the middle of the book especially was beautiful, I loved the slow developing of a friendship into love during those long summer days... I enjoyed this book so much it still gets 5 stars even if the ending wasn't enough.
At first I was hesitant at the choppy short sentences. But it began to flow and I truly felt this is how a teenager would think. It worked well, I could hardly put the book down.
I can't wait to read the next book there were lots of unanswered questions, as much as I hate cliffhangers I am surprisingly OK with this one. ...more
