This is part one of a serial story the authors had on their blogsite. It's a Scifi/Urban Fantasy mash-up about Dina Demille who's trying to get her inn, The Gertrude Hunt Bed & Breakfast back to its former (supernatural) glory. In the meantime her neighbourhood is being attacked by wild animals and there's a new werewolf in town who's peeing on her trees.

When I start a new series from authors I love, there is always that moment of doubt that they won't be able to live up to their past books/series. With Ilona and Andrew Gordon, I really shouldn't be worried. They have the ability to:

Dina is an "Innkeeper" who has magical powers from her inn. The inn is a sanctuary for aliens travelers like vampires, werewolves, fae, demons, etc. There are mysterious killings around the town of livestock and animals. Dina is trying to get to the bottom of that. In walks Sean Evans who is a new werewolf in the neighborhood. They of course butt heads and have to find a way to work together.

The inn is out of this world but in this world take a room at this inn and meet innkeeper extraordinaire who can craft a room to look like your home world or ask the house to throw you in jail all while keeping her little part of the country safe and non the wiser
This was totally cool and I wish I could have read it as a serial! I bet that was a ton of fun for the fans.

Adored this series, the fourth book can't come soon enough!!! This series has everything: aliens, vampires, werewolves, magic, humor, action, romance... Love it!
