I really enjoyed this book. I’m a huge Kate Daniels addict, er, I mean FAN. I was skeptical that I wouldn’t be able to like another series by Ilona Andrews if it didn’t have Kate in it, but I was sorely mistaken about that! I liked all the characters a lot, Beast was fabulous & my favorite of course.
I was hooked in immediately by the first 3 pages & I found I really liked this book & I’m looking forward to reading more.

A very intriguing and enjoyable start to this series. Well-written characters. Look forward to what's next..

This was a pretty interesting tale of the paranormal world. I liked Dina because she could be anyone that you know, just with an ability that no one would believe.
I like this take on supernatural world because it is so different than anything else I've read in the past.
That being said I really could have done without the possible love triangle. Everything else about the story and characters are intriguing enough without it. ...more

Dina is an Inn Keeper. She and her Inn are not what you'd expect at your usual Bed and Breakfast.
Sean lives nearby. When several dogs in the neighborhood are killed in a very gruesome way, Dina asks Sean what he's going to do about it.
Great inventive and imaginative story. I enjoyed the story and will be quickly reading the other books in the series!
Watch for some tongue in cheek references - loved 'em. ...more
