I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this series. Love because I really enjoy some of the light humor that this series usually offers. Hate because now that we are at book 19, sometimes I feel like I’ve read that before.

Audio Review: I've mainly read this series, but this series book I purchased the audio book. The narrator was Jack Dupont. I think he did a great job narrating and voicing all the various characters. All the characters had a very distinct tone and accent. He easily flowed from one voice to the next and you really think there were several people. I'd love to hear him do other titles.

I like most of the books in this series but there have been a couple of clunkers and, for me, this was one. Jake & Nicole are likable characters (I don't think Lynsay Sands can't write truly unlikable main characters) but I never bought into their romance and plot kind of meandered around messily.

This was a great quick read! Jake and Nicole's story was fun and refreshing.
