Carnival of Souls was not quite what I was expecting. Its is NOT a linear book with clean cut characters where everything is predictable.
It is refreshingly different. Even till the end, I was not thinking of it as YA. I am still not sure if it is YA, but in the end, the age of the characters cinched it.
