I really & truly have NO idea how Rachel Caine can continue churning out these fantastic Morganville books whilst keeping them interesting-BUT SHE DOES IT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Black Dawn is mainly about the Morganville residents (vamps & humans alike) fight against the Draug. It's fast-paced, action-packed with all our favourite characters. I teared up a few times with the Shane situation but you will have to read it to find out!

Lots of Shane and Myrnin in here - just not crazy Myrnin...but witty Shane is in full effect. "What's her name, Claire. What's her name?" Oh, my! It is a must read for the fan girls, but not as good as the last one. I am not digging on the POV changes, or the lack of story progression by dialogue. A signifigant decrease in conversation.
