The main thing we learn in this volume is that humans can be just as bad or worse as the vampires and not all the vampires are evil. Which we see in both the characters of Sam and Shane's dad. Shane's dad is so obsessed with killing every vampire he can that he doesn't care who gets killed or hur ...more

The second in the Morganville Vampire series. It picks up where the first book left off, excellent, since...you know...we last saw Michael was getting a knife through the heart.
This time Claire and her Glass House roommates have to deal with Shane's (one of the roomies) dad who happens to be a vampire hunter.
Ends with another cliffhanger, leaves you wanting more! ...more

read this one right after I finished glass houses...It got a little bit slow half way through for me...I didn't fly through it as quickly as the first book, but, I finished it over the course of 4-5 days...The actions picked up at the end big time...have now moved onto book three... ...more
