I really enjoyed this book. It had me laughing out loud throughout the book. Technically, you could read this without reading the first book in the series (HIGH STAKES), but I don't recommend that due to backstory. Just be aware that the first book doesn't have the same humor.
On a side note, the main character is named Seamus. I always want to pronounce that SEE-MUS. However, I think it is SHAY-MUS in the UK. :)

Hilarious. I laughed through the whole book. Compared with the first of the series, Bit the Jackpot was a vast improvement. McCarthy has hit her stride with Cara and Seamus, with great comedy and a lot of passion, mixed with more action. Cara is likable and Seamus is one hot Irishman. Bring on the next story!
