Shorty Review:
This was an incredibly fun story, with a feisty (and sometimes really moody) heroine, and two majorly sexy male suitors. ^_^ It'd be higher, but I can't--cannot--ignore the fact that the book was in dire need of a copyedit/proofread. The story was great, lots of fun. But it was seriously riddled with errors of all types, almost inexcusably so. A crying shame, because the story is full of awesomeness. So far, we've had TWO scenes of Val's father forcing her to vampire hunt even though she's scared shitless. Any other time, I would have found her attitude refreshing (of course you should be afraid of confronting monsters!!) but she's just annoying and I simply don't care. And if I don't care about what you're going through, then it's not worth it for me to continue being in your head.
