I'm looking forward to the rest of this series! I love all Katie MacAlister's books and this one didn't disappoint. The story is set in the same world as all of MacAlister's dragon series, so you have that familiarity of how things work, but I don't remember reading about any Travellers in the earlier books (I'll have to go back and do some re-reading). Katie makes some pretty fantastic heroines. This one reminds me of what I imagine Katie is like, based on her updates on Facebook. She has a note in the front of the book about how the support of her friends and family got her through the death of her husband. With that on the forefront of my mind, I read the book as a mourning wife might, and saw why this book might have been cathartic to write. If you could do over even one second, how might your life be different now?
