What Members Thought
To be fair, I think my ratings of short stories are a little more convervative than those of full novels. To me, the point of a short story is to expose me to a new author and highlight their work so that I'm going to want to buy their work; if your shorts aren't pretty darn good I'm not going to seek out your novels. I know that shorts are hard to write because there isn't a lot of time for world building, etc, but that's exactly my point - if the author can write a good short that pulls me in
