DRIVING MR DEAD is a very fast read. It's light paranormal romance with a touch of humor, so if you're in the mood for a little distraction from the doom and gloom you might be reading then this is the book for you.
That being said I have a confession to make. I've only read two books by Ms. Harper, the first two in the Jane Jameson series. After the second book I had to quit reading the series because I realized that I did not like Jane, which is importa ...more

Wow, Miranda has some crazy luck. So many bad things happen that ultimately lead to good things. It is a fun jaunt from Washington state to Kentucky delivering an uptight, reclusive vampire. And by fun, I mean to read about, it would be horrible to have to live through.

so funny. A great adventure of mishap. Miranda is hired to drive Collin (a vampire) cross country. He has a list 16 pages long for her to follow (radio channel, food & drink, breaks, hotels that are okay to stop at,etc.). He's uptight and she's not. The trip starts off bad with her arriving late to pick him up because of a chicken hitting her car. From there the adventure keeps up.
