3.75 stars. Couldn't resist the blurb for this fun paranormal romance. Accident-prone, black sheep of the family, Miranda, is hired to drive a stuffy, OCD vampire across country to deliver a secret package. Their route is marked by catastrophes, confessions and a reluctant admiration.

This is the road trip from hell! I couldn't believe how badly things could go wrong for our heroes. It was hilarious. The author perfectly captures Collin's gradual awakening when faced with Miranda's irrepressible

DRIVING MR DEAD is a very fast read. It's light paranormal romance with a touch of humor, so if you're in the mood for a little distraction from the doom and gloom you might be reading then this is the book for you.

Wow, Miranda has some crazy luck. So many bad things happen that ultimately lead to good things. It is a fun jaunt from Washington state to Kentucky delivering an uptight, reclusive vampire. And by fun, I mean to read about, it would be horrible to have to live through.

What I enjoyed:
* The crazy things that happened (view spoiler)
* Miranda, she has some grit

The trip starts off bad with her arriving late to pick him up because of a chicken hitting her car. From there the adventure keeps up. Dick (from the Jane Jameson series by Harper) appears towards the end and helps out. A little boring to start but a ...more
