Good follow up the the first book in the series. Maggie has taken her place as the pack Alpha. Nick is a researcher in folk studies that wants to expose her pack. Lots of pack politics. Even more funny repartee between Maggie and just about everyone she talks with. Quick, fun read. 3.5 stars

I liked this one a bit better than the first since the thing that bugged me about that one was Mo's parents and her relationship to them. Since that wasn't part of this storyline I was able to sit back and enjoy the one liners. Not the deepest, most emotional romance ever but a fun book with fun characters and some LOL moments. ...more
