3.5 stars, but I think on the lower side of three, vs more four. Make sense? In my odd brain it does.
3 stars means I liked it, but it has issues.
This review is going to be difficult for me, because on the one hand, I fell in love with Shaedes of Gray's promise. And you know what they say about falling in love with the potential of a man or woman right? Well, it's true for books too.

I would have given it 4.5 Stars.
How to put what I think into words.
It was a really, really good book. Amanda Bonilla captures the imagination with her characters and world. Based out of Seattle Darian is a Shaedes, she thinks that she is the only one in world turns out that she was wrong.
Part of the book is her discovery that she isn't alone that there's a whole supernatural community she didn't know about. This was a needed part but felt a little too blah with the way she accepted it but that w ...more
