I'm not good with words so I'll keep it short.
This is Lisa and Eddie's story. I was excited to know what happened with Lisa after the Bride Fight from the first book. I knew they were not a happy couple from the glimpses I had read and was intrigued to see how they would resolve their differences.
The plot advances and the world building is steady. Dealing with characters suffering from neglect or abuse is touchy but Maddy Barone succeeded in her previous books but those 2 broken characters took ...more
