This is one of those exceptional series which are at the same time obviously erotica for women and also empowering for women.
Feminism so usually (stupidly) mistakes being an empowered woman with not wanting (and in the worst degrees, being aggressive to) men.
Beyond some virgin obsession (which is addressed, so points for insight) this book is about finding a partner and being better together, not being completed.
And also, it's funny and smoking hot. And has Rocky Horror Picture Show commentary. ...more

I really enjoyed this book! I knew I would!! I love KC! I love IAD and I love vampires so it was pretty much a given.. I didn't like the names in the book.lol but other than that all was good!! He was all you could want in a vampire and she was extremely likable and not overly "scared damsel" that can sometimes happen in story lines like this. 4.5 stars - Another good instalment in the Immortals After Dark series, half a point deducted for being a little overlong and losing momentum a little in the final chapters.

Lovely to get back into this series. I forgot how much I enjoy it. The back stories and the characters. The many worlds. As usual the character development was well established. I liked this demon realm and the tournament was very exciting and well described. Easy to picture. Definitely a favourite in the series.
