What Members Thought
Some of the rating of this book is of the "it's not you, it's me" variety. I've been going a little off on romance as a genre lately so I think if I'd been in a different state of mind I would have enjoyed it more. As it was, I do like the world in these Shifter Unbound books. It's an interesting take on shifters being a bit under the thumb of humans and being segregated into "Shiftertowns" where they are only allowed so much freedom. Whew, the first third was a little rough with endless "mating heat" conversations both internal and external. Once I got to the middle and the actual story kicked in, it was much better and much more interesting and I enjoyed seeing alot of the shifters from previous stories.
