While the main couple had captured my attention since the scene when they first met in Wild Cat, I wasn't all that engrossed in their story, unfortunately. That is mostly because of Iona, who for a big part of the book just refuses to listen to reason.

I found her very frustrating and so had a difficult time getting into their story, even after she stopped being so belligerent.

Eric and Iona have had my attentin since they met in the nightclub and I was eagerly awaiting their tale. I wasn't disappointed!

Eric has a lot to deal with, the powers that be have declared that another pack have to move in to shiftertown with Eric and his pack this alone brings a lot of problems with it - 2 packs, 2 alpha's can anyone feel the tension & foresee the upcoming dominance fights? I think my reading preferences are narrowing toward shifter novels because my own shifter characters have been yammering at me to start work on their novel.

You know, I started this series when the first book was a book of the month for a group I'm in. It sounded ok and the library had it available immediately. I had no idea that it would quickly become one of my favorite series.
