I got kind of burned out on PNR at some point last year so it's been a while since I've read a J.R. Ward book. I think the break did me good because I really liked this one despite some things that bug me a bit. I realized while reading this that she actually reminds me in some ways of Stephen King. Take any given sentence and it's not that good. Try to describe the plot and it sounds ridiculous. But, all that aside, they both can tell a story that just sucks you in.
