The third installment of the Fallen Angels series focuses on Thomas DelVecchio, who we met in the BDB series. Jim and Devina are trying to influence him and try some new tactics along the way. Shelves: paranormal, romance, urban-fantasy, kindle

This was moving along about to be my favorite of this series when something toward the end blew it. The book itself recovered and I did enjoy it but still think I liked the first one the best. It's a little overly long (like most recent Ward books) but it still was quick, entertaining reading. I really liked Veck but Ward generally does good heroes so that isn't surprising. I think I may have reached my limit with Ward. Unleashed and her Fallen Angels series are not as interesting as her early BDB books. I'm starting to skim her books which is not a good sign. Definitely not an auto buy but will definitely take a shot at Tohr's book when the library stocks it. Otherwise I think I'm going to take a break from Ward. ...more
