4.5 stars. I loved the book. I like this as much as the last book. Miss Ward did not disappoint.
IMO, this book not only depicted the “good vs. evil” but also the “nature vs. nurture”. I really loved Veck’s character. The way that he was born with the evil in him and has to overcome it, added the oomph to the already interesting theme. However, I found myself not as connected to Reilly’s character as much. I don’t know why.
