Unbelievably Lara Adrian has reinvented the Midnight Breed series in Book 11. Its still got all the hot Breed boys and talented breedmates and its got the next generation ready to step up.
So the Breed were exposed by Dragos, disastrously in the previous book, when he released all the rogue vamps to feed on humans. So 20 years of war, chaos, rioting etc etc later and Lucan and the humans, GNC, are set for a peace conference.
Unbeknownst to them all, there is a bigger threat about to be revealed.

Mira & Kellen Archer/Bowen
Mira and Kellen have had a connection since the moment they met when Mira befriended him when they were young. They eventually fell in love with each other, but then Kellen was killed.
Now she finds out that things aren't exactly how they seemed. Not only that, but the Order are having to deal with the world knowing about Vampires and the politics that come along with it. Plus, a new enemy is on the horizon.

I was fortunate enough to attend Lara Adrian's LAMBCon event in August of 2012 where she gave us a short taste of this book. It left us all eagerly anticipating it's release.
This is story features a grown up Mira who is now a soldier in the Order still headed by Lucan. It is a story full of drama and betrayal that will catch you by surprise.
