Finally the series is over, and it's a relief. I can say that I already knew from about book 9 that Sookie was going to end up with who she did. Does she deserve him? F%#k NO!!!!
Am I upset? Well that fact should be apparent. I'm done with Harris. I've been disappointed with her other series as well. Lily Bard didn't end well yet she made a cameo appearance in this book.

So I mainlined this series over three days or so in preparation for the final book and I so do not have any idea what happened. I've been reading the series ever since the first book and really liked it. Upon rereading I was wondering WTF I was thinking. Was Sookie always so annoying? Where the characters always so wooden and one dimensional? A main character dies halfway through the series and I just did not care. It's not that she doesn't end up picking who she's "supposed to" that makes this

Seeing how the last two books were turds, I fought with myself.. Do I wanna finish the series? So I went off to B&N picked it up.. Got two chapters in.. And put it back down.

Although I enjoyed earlier books in the series more than these last few, I was pleased and satisfied with the final ending of Sookie's romance life. (I just hope they really get their happily ever after!)

I have to say though I liked Eric, I just didn't see him with Sookie.... Not really. From the beginning its Sam I felt she should have been with..... There were some loose ends but I was really happy to see the majority of the characters back and the past revisited through Sookie's thoughts. In that way it really felt like an ending.

I love Sookie and quite sad to know I will not be reading the adventures with her and her friends again
How could it be anything but good when Sookie is reading one of Dana's (Stabenow) books in it?
