I like the fact that Green has a really firm grasp on how to scare the ever loving s*#t out of people.

The main character's name is John Taylor, and he is able to find things that no one else is able to find. His profession is a private eye, and he receives a new job from a mother looking for her daughter. Only that this job is going to lead him to the Nightside; a place he's avoided for the last five years.
For all of the Harry Potter readers out there think of the Nightside as an X-Rated D ...more

I like the Dresden Files, Justin Gustainis's Occult Detective, and Larry Corriera's Grimnoir novels and really wanted another light book to try, so this was suggested. Blech. This was more like an outline then an actual story. Nothing is fleshed out. The characters are insipid. NOTHING about this is original.
