While not the waterworks of the previous book, it was a pretty emotional tale.

This book was split in two different stories. The first case of the disappearing man was well executed. I certainly do miss Paris and the parallel with the case was a nice touch.

The reason for the 4 stars reside in the second story. While Roan is trying to move on, the number of mysteries was too high to make a complete resolution. It seemed a bit rushed but in some respect a new story arc was being implemented and loo

I like this one so much better than the last one. As odd as it sounds given Roan's grief, this is lighter and more accessible. The last one was dark and heavy from the beginning, and I felt like I was wading through mud made by Red dwarf's despair squid.

There are so many great characters in this. Holden, Fiona, Cody, Dylan, and the interesting ones from previous books like Randi, Murphy, Kevin, and poor Matt. I love Dylan, and I think he'll be great for Roan. He's exactly what Roan ne
