Anica gets mad at her date and turns him into a cat, then loses her powers for mis-using them. Jasper is not happy to be a cat and Anica is not happy to be powerless. They work together to try and reverse the spell, eventually getting help from Dorcas and Ambrose from the Hex series.

Jasper's redemption seemed to quick to be real and their willingness to have sex while still pissed off and him still plotting revenge was just wrong. I never got a good sense of Anica other that she was a good girl/ ...more

3.5/5 stars. Not bad. Didn't know in advance it would have such a preoccupation with cats. Guess that's because I didn't read the teaser on the back cover before reading *grin* Good thing I'm a cat-lover, otherwise I probably would have hated this book. ...more
