After Jeanne Louise comes to, chained to a bed, she thinks it will be easy enough to slip into Paul's mind and command him to release her. Only she can't read him. She's excited and horrified to find that Paul is her life mate. But she is only allowed to turn one person, and that person has to be Paul.
