this was an awesomely funny, heartwarming and frustratingly wonderful story. Just goes to show you that no matter your age, gender, or species (:D) your parents and other family will always have the ability to drive you nuts and interfere in your life (for you own good of course :P)

A lighter read than some in the series. Christian pretends to be gay to get close to Carolyn, his lifemate. Carolyn is torn by the feelings that she is experiencing with a man she thinks is so much younger than herself. Always a good read. 3.5 stars

This was a light contrast to the books I've been reading lately. I did not read the synopsis since I enjoy the lightness of this series and wanted to be surprised.

This is not one of the rogue hunter books and was seriously lacking in villains and made the ending obvious by process of elimination. (view spoiler)

cute, but boring. Julius & Christian's interactions were funny, and liked that Marguerite & a few of Christian's cousins were in it, and liked Carolyn. A nice romantic comedy, but no action or mystery. The characters were okay, but the story was boring. It's a short book, which is good because it doesn't feel like there was much depth to it. ...more

Nice return to form for this series. The last few have been pretty meh. And unlike the last couple of books, Christian really had to work to win Caro. The Notte cousins were fun and I hope we see more of them.
