It is lovely to read of immortality and forever mates but for someone of 500 years you think Christian would have learned a little something from watching other family members with life mates
The Argeneau series can always be depended upon fun quick, fun, relaxing read. I suppose a series like this breeds expectation and this one fell a bit short in my mind. It was entertaining for sure but the drama was dragged too long so that everything was wrapped up in 30 pages at the end. All the grand reveal was a tad bit too much to be believable even for this series. The comments from the peanut gallery was annoying at times too.

I was so excited to read Christian's story. He was one of my favorite characters, especially in this parents story. Though I laughed out loud in a few instances, overall, I was quite disappointed with this installment. It was quite slow in the beginning, I also was not a fan of the heroine. Shw was quite wishy-washy throughout the whole book but then automatically believes he is not a vampire and they will live happily ever after (unbelievable!) ...more

I'm sorry to say I found this one quite predictable, I really hope Lynsay changes the formula up a bit for the next book.
