I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I didn't know if I would like it or not, but I read it in one sitting if that tells you anything. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was amazing, but I really cared about the characters and wanted to see everything work out for them. Definitely a series I'll be reading more of.

I actually saw a lot of folks here reading this series last month and put it on my "to try" list. This is one of the lower rated books in the Argeneu series. Pretty strong, but not the strongest and I really enjoyed it. I think I liked how it was so different from what I had been reading. It is a sweet little love story, unlike the impression the descriptors gave me. Almost YA in style- very low on graphics. Not intense in any way.
