What Members Thought

The book is good. I liked it. The heroine either makes or breaks a book for me and this time Kira was okay not great but okay.
I liked that she was not freaked out about the whole werewolf thing and that she had a lot of compassion for the other paranormals. What made me not love her was 3 reasons.
1. When the fight between Jax and Aric broke out she did nothing to stop it just looked on.

Though i have to agree with many of the previous reviews about there being a lot going on in this book, i personally Ms. Tyler constructed it very well. All first series books have a lot they throw at a person during world building (Cheyenne McCray's Magic Series is a great example), but if it is done well there are no issues for me.
