I really enjoyed this book; I think in some ways despite itself. I loved the world that the author created with the different supernatural races and I love the way the information about them was revealed. There would be both scientific or historical information about a certain race and then you'd see characters demonstrating those traits. I felt the characterization in the book was very strong. I don't know if I find this book awesome or if the previous book I read just sucked...
Anyway, I know that this book was super engaging. DH can describe a place vividly. It is a long read so get ready to get lost in the story. Seriously, where did the time go?
