Alex is back and now helping the police search for a killer that just leaves the left foot behind and dealing with the fall-out from the previous book.

I'm really liking this UF series set in a world that when the fae revealed themselves 50 years ago new pockets of reality opened up. Populated with humans, witches & fae Nekros City is one of those areas that sprang into existence at that time. The world here is pretty rich, there are neighborhoods & stores that cater to the magically inclined and a variety of law enforcement units to oversee it all.

It should have been better. I wanted it to be better. It's like somewhere in the period of time it took to get from the first book to this one, someone completely lost her humor. Too many times I found my self saying, out loud, in Hebrew, lighten up girl! you're taking yourself way too seriously!

I had a hard time sticking to this book. The first book was so much better.
She seems like she's just stumbling through with her powers and the situation that she's in... Not really impressed with her character right now. :/
Although I am intrigued by the Fae politics that she finds herself in... Hummm... Anyway... I find this particular story forgettable... :( It's not a 2 or lesser because I like the world built here. I just need a better plot and it seems like the next story coming looks juicy. ...more

Kinda disappointed in the villain. Ya I didn't see it coming but it was so out of the blue it didn't even matter. Just another useless character to throw away.
