I'm in the middle of 'it's ok' and 'liked it' so more like 2 3/4 stars if that's possible. The book was cute. It had some fun humor and it was an interesting take on the were story. The way the author described falling in love was sweet and made me go 'Awe...' The main character, Marty, was described several times as neurotic, impossible, stubborn, ect. and believe me she lived up to everyone of those descriptions completely. At first this had the feel of the Queen Betsy series, but luckily it eventually got over that hurdle. It was a light fluffy read, just what I was in the mood for, and it delivered. Still I couldn't give it more than 3 stars cause I have read better, funnier books.
Marty Andrews is accidentally bitten by a werewolf when he is distracted and her dog Muffin attacks him, mistakenly trying to protect her. Of course, the reason he is distracted is "she smells gooooood". Enough said to shifter readers.

Very brief:
I haven't read many books about a female werewolf shifter so I wasn't sure what to expect. Also, this is my first read by this author. It was a crazy ride! Funny characters, a crazy plot, with a little drama and suspense. This was full of surprises, which is a good thing! I look forward to checking out the other books in this series! ...more

I had some difficulty rating this book. Marty as a character is swallow and I really didn't like her at the beginning. She is a little better as the book moves along. I almost gave this a 2, but it was entertaining, even though the "suspense" aspect is predictable.
