4.5 stars for the plot and ongoing story arc and 3 stars for the romance. This story wraps up the tale of fiery combative dragon siblings, Fearghus, Briec, Gwenvael, Keita, and Eibhear. The love story of Eibhear and Izzy, who we met in books 1 and 2 respectively, was always a foregone conclusion. These two have been fighting and mooning over each other for ages. In an attempt to catch up on this series I listened to this book again. I think that 6+ years is a long time between reads, but I don't think that my feelings have changed. While I really liked this book, I did not entirely love it.
Izzy's constant rejecting of Eibhear and the constant reminder of his being her "Uncle" irritated me more than amused me. It's been years and I still hate it. I would have loved a more united front as a storyline. It's not to say that I would have loved them to be ma

Probably closer to 3.5*s. As usual there are a fair amount of laughs in this book. Humor is so subjective and I think Laurenston/Aiken definitely has a style that either appeals to you or puts you off. I find myself snort-laughing while reading many of her books so it works for me.

I do like the dragon books but Izzy & Eibhear are never going to be my favorite couple. They had their amusing moments but in some ways they too much alike to be a really fun romantic coupling. My favorite books in thi

I so love these dragons. They are so dysfunctional, yet so loyal to each other. This one is about Eibear the Blue & Izzy. Their relationship has been building, yet they've been denying it for so long. Eibear has orders to take Izzy bake to Garbair Isle, so he heads off to get her and take her home. A few of his Mi-ranuch mates join him. They find her, take her back home, and then from there they set off on another adventure. This one to Talaith's homelands. They deal with the sandeaters, and zyl ...more

Not what i expected for Eibhear and Izzy but it was nice to have the other characters from previous books making appearances. Makes me wonder if the author will continue the series.
