How to drive a reader crazy. That's what the title should have been for this book.

It's with a little reluctance that I admit I enjoyed this. After finishing The Last Dragon Standing, I disliked Izzy. A lot. A.LOT. STILL. And I read that one back in 2010. So for the first 5-10 chapters, I remembered why I disliked Izzy. But then I just settled into the story with her, Eibhear, Macsen 'is it really a' dog, and all the other wonderfully crazy, funny characters. I'd been putting off reading this one just cause then I'd be caught up on the series. How was Ms Aiken going to reconcile Izzy & Éibhear after their youthful follies?
I shouldn't have been worried, at all. And whilst watching them get their act together we had plenty of action, battles, Gods, cults, bad family members and laughter.
