3.5 stars. Solid shifter romance about Ana, the leader of a wolf pack and ranch who recently lost her parents and male pack mates to a poisoning attack. There are some 3* reads that for me are 3* because they are fine books. Nothing that I love, but nothing that I really didn't like either. This isn't one of those books. This is a 3* read where it averages out to 3. There are thinks I really liked and things that didn't work so well for me.

Paranormal Romance + Shifters is simply one of my favorite combinations EVER! The Moon Shifter series hit all the right spots for me. A great pack structure, Hot Alpha males, strong female characters, loads of smexy times and just the right amount of action.
I loved the story line in Alpha Instinct and how it set us up for the rest of the series. Connor and Ana make an amazing Alpha couple =)

After losing a larger number of her pack to poisoning, Ana is struggling to hold things together. Enter her childhood crush, Connor, and his pack of warrior wolves. Interesting storyline with a mystery along with the paranormal romance. 3 stars
Good story but I generally dislike heroines who take their stubbornness to a whole new level and that is what put me off this book.
4/4.5....gobbled this read right up.
